The last few months: AKA Your guns are useless, but scare the crap outta me anyway!

The past couple of weeks have flown on by, and I haven’t really accomplished as much as I had planned. Without the burden of set deadlines I have unfortunately embraced laziness; however, that needs to change so that I can polish some of my graphic design pieces for my portfolio.

Overall, last quarter was a new and interesting experience for me. Though I had taken two years of Running Start, this is the first quarter where I started to take computer design classes and it was a developing experience for me, as I learned how to use various design programs and I really had to start pushing myself. Though my first projects in those classes were weak, I eventually grew and I started to work more on the concepts of my designs. I had periods where I truly began to doubt myself, but I had to overcome this and push myself harder. Grade-wise, I have done better that I have ever done, but I still think I need to do better. “I must become more than just a man in the mind of my opponents. A man is just flesh and blood and can be ignored or destroyed. But as a symbol... as a symbol, I can be incorruptible… everlasting.”
